Three men have been charged following a shooting near Young Dolph’s memorial in South Memphis a little over 24-hours after the rapper was shot outside of Makeda’s Butter Cookies.
Memphis PD posted the mugshots of Terrance Jones, 23, Jailon Nelvis, 19, and Tavis McQueen, 22, who were all arrested and charged in connection with the shooting at a memorial for Young Dolph.
According to local reports, the shooting left one man wounded in the leg with non-critical injuries. Police pursued the gray four-door Nissan Versa that the shots were fired from, which later crashed and led to the men exiting the car on foot. According to the affidavit, the men threw handguns out of the car as they ran away from the scene of the crash.
Police arrested Terrance Jones, Travis McQueen, and Jailon Nelvis after a brief foot chase. Police later found two handguns in the road, one in a grassy field, and one near a garbage can at a nearby home. An AR pistol and a handgun were found inside the car, which was later revealed to be stolen.
According to jail records, the men were charged with Reckless Driving, Evading Arrest, three counts of Possession of Prohibited Weapon, two counts of Reckless Endangerment, two counts of Theft of Property, and six counts of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
