Maximilian Rostopora, known in the music industry as Milian Beatz, is a Ukraine-born hip-hop producer now based out of Los Angeles. In recent years, Milian Beatz has been grinding in the LA hip-hop scene, looking to make it big as a producer, as working in the music industry has been his life’s dream. After putting in Kanye West-like hours to his beat making, Milian Beatz had a breakout 2019 and is in the middle of an impressive 2020 as well.
After landing representation from talent agent Barry Rosenblum, Rostopora began releasing track as Milian Beatz in 2019. Some standouts from last year include the tracks Gretzky and Slip N Slide. Gretzky is the first track Milian released with his now frequent collaborator, Ursa the Chef, and displays Rostopora’s multi-instrumentalism on drums, keys, and guitar. Slip N Slide is Milian Beatz first collaboration with Brandon Bill$, who is also now a frequent collaborator. The biggest track Milian Beatz released in 2019, F-Type, was his collaboration with Skippa da Flippa, who became well-known for his features with Lil Yachty, Young Thug, and Quavo.
Deep into 2020, Milian Beatz already has three releases under his belt. The first track, Nothin’ New, is a playful, up-tempo collaboration with Ursa the Chef, whom Milian Beatz has worked with before. The production features a classic drumbeat with a rhythmic bassline and a fluctuating voice sample. The second track the “King of Kyiv” has released in 2020 is with the rising West African R&B artist Papithbk, entitled Make It Work. Milian Beatz leads Papithbk away from his usually sensual and dark sounding production with a more upbeat and bouncy style. Together, Milian and Papithbk make a dynamic duo who are seemingly unstoppable throughout this track. The third track released this year, Over the Limit, features rappers Tru and Constantine sharing bars over a unique beat that displays Multi Beatz guitar skills, showing him as a true multi-instrumentalist.
