Marking a quarter-century since the first BMW X5 rolled off the production line, the automaker has unveiled the X5 Silver Anniversary Edition. This special edition, based on the 2025 X5 xDrive40i, celebrates 25 years of the performance SUV with enhanced off-road capabilities and exclusive design features.

Limited to just 1,000 units, the X5 Silver Anniversary Edition is priced at $79,900. It features BMW Individual Lime Rock Grey metallic paint, distinctive 20-inch M Star-spoke wheels and extended Shadowline trim. The exterior design combines elements from both the Sport and M Sport packages, including a unique aluminum-accented trim that highlights its off-road prowess.

Inside, customers can choose from Black, Cognac, Coffee, or Silverstone Sensafin upholstery. Carbon Fiber trim, typically reserved for the X5 M60i and X5 M Competition, is featured on the center console and dashboard. The vehicle is equipped with the BMW Curved Display powered by BMW Operating System 8.5, Live Cockpit Professional and a Silver Anniversary Edition plaque on the compartment door.

The X5 Silver Anniversary Edition comes standard with the xOffroad Package, which includes 2-axle air suspension, underbody protection plates and four drive modes: xSnow, xSand, xGravel and xRocks. This package enhances the vehicle’s off-road capabilities, making it a true adventure vehicle.

Additional features include a Harman-Kardon Surround Sound System, heated front seats, remote engine start, a trailer hitch, and the Parking Assistance Package. Production of this limited-edition model is set to begin in August 2024.
