Charleston White Faces New Texas Felony Drug Case After Latest Arrest

Charleston White faces two new drug possession allegations in Texas, marking another legal hurdle for the controversial figure less than a month after his arrest in Florida. A booking record from Tarrant County, dated October 4, indicates that Arlington police are the agency behind the new charges, which include bonds set at $1,500 and $500.

The specific allegations involve less than one gram of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2 and under two ounces of marijuana. Under Texas law, the possession of the listed amount of a Penalty Group 2 substance is classified as a state jail felony. As of the latest reports, the booking record shows these bonds remain unposted, with a combined total of $2,000 required for his release.

This development follows a tumultuous period for White, who was previously arrested on September 12 in Hollywood, Florida, on charges of misdemeanor battery. That incident occurred shortly before he was scheduled to perform at the Off the Hook Comedy Club in Naples. Following his release in the Florida case, White publicly denied allegations of abuse made by a woman who claimed he had stolen her belongings and acted violently toward her. White maintained his innocence in a video statement, claiming he was acting in self-defense during the dispute.

Prior to these recent legal issues, 50 Cent and other industry figures have often been the subject of White’s commentary, but his own legal troubles have now taken center stage. In August, he was also booked in Collin County on charges involving marijuana, a weapon, and a driver’s license violation. As the Tarrant County case proceeds, the status of his legal representation and the specific circumstances leading to the Arlington police intervention remain under scrutiny.
