Consequence asserted in a recent interview that he’s listened to the unreleased collaborative album between Ye and Kendrick Lamar, noting that the joint project features beats from Madlib.

During his appearance on the Bootleg Kev podcast, the artist confirmed the production work of Madlib and told the host that the album is “there.” Consequence said, “I just think it just needed to be structured, you know what I’m saying? I heard the whole thing. It was there. It’s there. It’s crazy.”

The pair continued to talk about the collaboration between Ye and Dr. Dre, and how Consequence went to the sessions during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and while he was battling lupus. “There’s just so much music that I feel like is in the air,” Bootleg Kev said.

West and Dot hit the studio together for one night in early 2016 following their work on the Madlib-produced “No More Parties in LA,” and Ye confirmed that they were able to record a total of 40 songs. None of those tracks have ever been officially released, although a few leaks have hit the internet since.
