Doja Cat is stepping into her new era. Just ahead of her upcoming fourth new album Scarlet, the artist has taken to Instagram to announce that she will be dropping a new single, titled “Masc,” soon.
With Scarlet expected to release in the fall, the singer and rapper is set to drop “Masc” in the next week, in early April. Doja Cat shared a short snippet of the track on her Instagram, hinting that new music is on the way. Earlier this year, she had already teased the release of Scarlet 2: Claude Frollo, a deluxe edition of Scarlet, is currently in the works. Amongst the tracks listed, “Masc” was on the image of a whiteboard, with others like “Acknowledge Me,” “Head High,” “Gang,” “Rider,” “Urrrge” and “Hungry” all part of the tracklist.
This year is looking to be a busy one for Doja, as she is slated to headline Coachella and later her first headlining arena tour across the U.K. and Europe this summer. Look out for the release of “Masc” arriving on April 5.
