Previously, Snoop Dogg spoke about acquiring Death Row Records and went on to note that he has ‘The Chronic’ along with other albums like ‘Dogg Food,’ ‘Doggystyle,’ and more. Now, a lawyer for Dr. Dre—Howard King has cleared up the claims made by Snoop.
King issued a statement saying “There are false reports out regarding ownership by Death Row of Dr. Dre’s The Chronic. Dr. Dre owns 100 percent of The Chronic.” The news came after Snoop went on to say the deal he struck to get Death Row Records would find him owning ‘The Chronic’ along with the other previously mentioned albums.
While speaking to Tidal, Snoop said “Same with Dr. Dre and The Chronic. I got The Chronic album. I got Doggystyle, Tha Doggfather, Murder Was the Case, Dogg Food, Above the Rim. I got all those records.”
