Since its 1983 creation in Japan, G-SHOCK has remained a mainstay in the world of watches, especially when it comes to versatile and durable styles. In furthering its ever-growing catalog, the brand has revealed its new G-SHOCK G-Steel GST-B600.
With the launch, the brand has unveiled three new G-Steel variations. But one of the primary standout features is the model’s smaller and lighter construction. The watch features a 42.3 mm x 11.4 mm build. Additionally, the watch weighs in at 60 grams with the rubber strap and 135 grams with the entirely metal strap. The new dimensions make it 5.2 mm smaller in diameter and 6.6 mm smaller in lug-to-lug length.
With its slightly sleeker build, the watch fits a variety of uses whether it be with a suit for the office or a casual everyday fit. Of course, the strap variations make this even easier. Additionally, the model features black and deep indigo faces with striking silver indices. With the black watch face, the G-SHOCK name appears in crisp white or red while the deep indigo face sees a bold neon green hue. Finishing features include an analog-digital display, Bluetooth time syncing and a solar quartz movement.
Take a look at the new model in the gallery above. Starting at $299 USD, G-SHOCK’s new G-Steel-B600 timepiece is set to be released in Japan this month and later in the United States.
