This past weekend, from May 8-10, the music world descended upon Orlando as Rolling Loud took over the city. With a massive lineup featuring headliners like Don Toliver, Playboi Carti, and Ken Carson, the festival once again proved to be the premier destination for hip-hop’s most exciting voices. Beyond the main stage, the event served as a vibrant showcase for an underground-heavy bill that kept the energy high all weekend long.
The FADER was on the ground to connect with some of our favorite artists, diving into conversations that spanned everything from personal style tips and childhood anecdotes—including stories of getting kicked out of school—to the unique experience of performing over Mother’s Day weekend. We also discussed the creative process behind their latest projects and the artists they are currently inspired by.
