Isabella Lovestory fans are having a very good week. Following her appearance on Miami duo B0YG1RL’s excellent new EP EXIT 2B, where she brought a frantic energy to the reggaeton-infused “Soleil,” Lovestory has returned with a vibrant new take on her own material. She has officially dropped the “Gorgeous (Remix),” enlisting the talents of fall tour opener Cece Natalie and Korean hyperpop sensation The Deep.
Produced by frequent collaborator Chicken—whose credits include work for JT—the original version of “Gorgeous” was defined by its slinky, Y2K-era R&B appeal. The remix preserves Lovestory’s undulating, unabashed hook, but introduces a pulsing kickdrum and a fat new synthline that pushes the track into a higher gear, maintaining the original BPM while significantly increasing the intensity.
While the three artists hail from different corners of the globe, they share a dynamic, eclectic approach to pop music. On the remix, they sound entirely in sync, trading verses in Korean, Spanish, and English. The Deep’s stop-start flow navigates the intricate gaps in the production with precision, while Cece Natalie delivers a memorable, sharp-witted verse that highlights her confidence as a performer.
Ultimately, “Gorgeous (Remix)” serves as a testament to the trio’s chemistry, proving that a great banger transcends language barriers.
