JAŸ-Z will headline the 2027 halftime show after eight years of aiding the NFL with halftime show production and artist curation. Super Bowl LXI is scheduled to take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on Sunday, February 14.
Reflecting on the milestone, JAŸ-Z said in a statement, “From Reasonable Doubt to standing on the Super Bowl Halftime stage, this has been a journey. Thirty years of music, work, and culture on the world’s biggest stage. This run continues to be a dream come true.”

JAŸ-Z performed three nights in a row at Yankee Stadium in July, and from September through October, he headlined the JAŸ-Z30 tour, a short stadium concert series commemorating the 30th anniversary of his debut album Blueprint and the 25th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt. Many superstars were brought out across all dates, including Beyoncé and Rihanna in New York City, as well as Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre in Los Angeles. This marked his first headlining tour since his 4:44 run in late 2017.
Speculation regarding potential guest performers has already begun. Given that JAŸ-Z’s entertainment company, Roc Nation, has collaborated with the NFL since 2019, signees like Rihanna—who previously headlined a Super Bowl halftime show—are considered likely candidates. Additionally, his wife, Beyoncé, remains at the top of the list for many fans, given her extensive experience with the halftime stage.
