L-da Wild is known for her majestic melodies, honest lyrics, and gorgeous chord progressions. With her recent album release, “In the Making”, she has attracted a world-wide audience. Her relatable self-written songs are blowing the listeners away. L-da truly makes every second of her songs count. When asked what the most important element is in writing a song, L-da explained: “Honesty. You have to be brutally honest with every word you write. Even if the truth scares you, it’s always the right thing to do.”
Because L-da writes, sings, produces and plays everything we hear in her music, it begs the question of where she starts when writing a song. “Every song always starts with me and a guitar, completely organic and real. It starts with a purpose. A reason to write something with the intention that it will someday change a life. Usually, I write the chords first. Then I hear the melody. Then, I write the lyrics around that melody, matching the syllables to the count of the melody. The lyrical part is almost separate for me. After the melody is written and I understand the necessary length of every line, I am constantly writing that song in my mind all day exploring different lines and rhymes.”
L-da’s album “In The Making” is available on all major listening platforms.
