A convicted felon, who was on probation for a felony domestic assault, was sentenced to seven years in prison after he was caught on video sucker-punching a 12-year-old boy.
The incident occurred in Missouri in July 2020. The video footage shows 12-year-old Ethan Hagler dancing on a street corner when a black SUV pulls up behind him. At that point, 28-year-old Cedric Moore exits the passenger seat and sneaks up on the boy, and violently punches him to the ground.
The 205-pound Moore is then chased back to the vehicle and speeds off. A bloodied Hagler was treated at a hospital after the assault.
Moore pleaded guilty to the assault earlier this month and was sentenced to four years in prison for violating his probation. The four-year sentence will run concurrent with the seven-year sentence.
