Following news reconfirming the new date for Only Watch, Patek Philippe finally unveils its participating timepiece for the biennial charity auction: the Grande and Petite Sonnerie Minute Repeater. Rare Handcrafts Ref. 6301A-010.
This unique reference comes attired in a polished steel case and outfitted with a concave bezel, framing its meticulously crafted Grand Feu and hand-guilloché, swirling flinqué enamel dial. 0.45-carats-worth of diamonds are festooned onto the dial in the form of 12 baguette-cut hour markers. A chapter ring encircles the outer dial, enveloping the 6-‘clock jumping seconds and power reserve displays, complete with white gold faceted Dauphine hands.
On the flipside, Ref. 6301A-010 showcases the magnificence of its GS 36-750 PS IRM caliber through a see-through sapphire caseback. The movement itself is geared with a 72-hour power reserve while the strikework function requires manual-winding every 24 hours. The caseback is also inscribed with “Only Watch 2024” to mark its exclusive nature as a piece unique for the auction.
Accompanied by a patinated alligator strap in a dark blue-green, the timepiece is estimated to sell between 1,500,000 – 1,800,000 CHF ( $1,644,631 – $1,973,558 USD). The upcoming auction will be taking place in Geneva on May 10, head over to Only Watch’s official website for more information.
