Turnstile have shared a video for two new songs, one titled “Seein Stars” and another “Birds.” The video, which was directed by the band’s own Brendan Yates and Pat McCrory, starts with a deconstructed bar scene as people dance, drink, and play pool in a dark room. The action then switches to a live performance in the great outdoors to match the faster, heavier second song. Both “Seein Stars” and “Birds” will appear on the band’s upcoming album Never Enough, which will be released on June 6. Scroll down to watch the video now.
“Seein Stars” is the more laidback and pop-leaning of the two new songs and includes additional vocals contributed by Paramore’s Hayley Williams and Dev Hynes a.k.a. Blood Orange. “Birds,” meanwhile, is a fast and furious mosh-pit starter that is sure to become a live favorite.
Turnstile announced Never Enough earlier this month alongside the album title track. It is the hardcore band’s follow-up to Glow On, the 2021 album that propelled them from the underground to Grammy-nominee status.
The band recently revealed plans to perform in New York City on the night before Never Enough drops, with a show scheduled at Under The K Bridge in Brooklyn on June 5. They will be joined on the bill by special guests Teezo Touchdown, Boy Harsher, and Big Boy. The band will also be performing across Europe and the U.K. in June. See below for their schedule.
