If you have not been paying attention to the underground scene, it is time to get familiar with ØWay. The rap collective is currently the most talked-about act out of Atlanta, generating enough momentum to catch the attention of Young Thug. Following a high-energy performance at Irving Plaza in New York City earlier this month, Thug has officially announced his first headlining tour in seven years, and he is bringing the next generation of talent with him.
The New Generation tour promises to be a showcase of the evolving sound of Atlanta. Here is a breakdown of the artists joining Young Thug on the road.
The ØWay Collective
At the forefront is Tezzus, the ringleader of the ØWay collective. Known for his unfiltered approach and boundless energy, his brash delivery has made him a standout figure in the group. He is joined by diamond*, a key artist whose signature singsong flow allows him to navigate complex beats with ease. The group also features 1300SAINT, an Atlanta-via-Maryland rapper whose melodic sensibilities and precise, pinched vocal delivery have continued to sharpen with every release.
The collective is rounded out by iyrus, a Philadelphia-based artist who has become a vital part of the ØWay–YSL axis, and yume. A teenage producer who has already secured placements with industry heavyweights like Drake and Chris Brown, yume is now stepping into the spotlight as a performer. During their recent NYC show, Young Thug famously introduced her as YSL’s first “AI artist.”
New YSL Signees
In addition to the ØWay collective, the tour will feature new additions to the YSL roster. Biggs Money brings a laidback, pocket-focused flow to the stage, while Lil Unky—a former OPIUM signee with notable collaborations alongside Quavo and Baby Drill—rounds out the lineup with his blunt, hard-hitting style.
