The Nike Air Footscape Woven re-emerges with a striking new colorway as part of its Asia-exclusive NAI-KE series.
This iteration showcases an intricate blend of cream and olive hues across its distinctive, asymmetrical upper, punctuated by a vibrant mix of orange as well as subtle hints of jade, aquamarine, teal and pink within the iconic woven sections. A closer look at the tongue also reveals debossed branding, depicting the phonetic “Nai-ke” spelling in Chinese characters, sitting above the “The One Line” tagline.
“The One Line” draws inspiration from Nike’s tactical shift in the late 1970s that was prompted by a U.S. tariff bill. In an effort to mitigate costs, Nike began producing “knock-offs” of their own products in China — a move that led to the creation of some of the first sneakers without the recognizable Swoosh or brand name on them.
Slated for release later this year, the Nike Air Footscape Woven “The One Line” will retail for $160 USD. This special edition will be available exclusively in Asia, through Nike and selected retailers.
