2Pac’s Estate Approves New Song With 50 Cent & Eminem for “Street Fighter”

In a major revelation that has sent shockwaves through the music industry, 50 Cent has confirmed a groundbreaking new collaboration featuring himself, Eminem, and the late rap icon 2Pac. The track is set to serve as the official theme for the upcoming Street Fighter film, marking a historic moment as it brings together two of hip-hop’s most legendary figures who never shared a studio session during their lifetimes.

While promoting his new STARZ series Fightland, 50 Cent shared the news with the hosts of TODAY. He emphasized that the song utilizes authentic, previously unreleased vault recordings of 2Pac, explicitly distancing the project from the controversial use of AI-generated vocals. The rapper noted that the project received the full blessing of the late artist’s estate, stating, “We worked on it, and got it right,” and adding that the family “loved it.”

A Historic Musical Union

The collaboration is particularly significant because it bridges a gap that time previously made impossible. 2Pac was tragically killed in 1996, years before Eminem rose to global prominence. By utilizing archival recordings, the Street Fighter soundtrack is achieving a feat that fans have long speculated about but never expected to see realized in an official capacity.

The connection between the artists is deeply rooted in the history of G-Unit and Shady Records. 50 Cent’s long-standing professional and personal bond with Eminem, which spans over two decades, provided the foundation for this ambitious project. While 50 Cent had previously teased an Eminem collaboration for the Street Fighter project, the inclusion of 2Pac serves as a monumental upgrade to the soundtrack.

Street Fighter Reboot Details

Beyond his musical contributions, 50 Cent is set to appear on screen in the live-action Street Fighter reboot, where he will portray the character Balrog. The film features a star-studded cast including Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes. Directed by Kitao Sakurai and set in 1993, the movie is highly anticipated by both gaming enthusiasts and cinema fans alike.

Street Fighter is scheduled to hit theaters on October 16, 2026.
