Kanye West is putting his wealth and fame where it really matters. Kanye has announced that he will be building a “City of the future” in Haiti. Via twitter the Presidential candidate announced that he is in agreement with the Haitian government to do this. Kanye wrote “Just to be CLEAR: WE ARE IN ENGAGED WITH HAITI’s GOVERNMENT to make a transformational INVESTMENT to bring JOBS, DEVELOPMENT, HELP SUPPORT LOCAL FARMERS and FISHERMEN and Build a new « CITY OF THE FUTURE » in a very beautiful country.”
