More is in store for Roc Nation as the music label embarks on a new multi-year partnership with Italian luxury fashion label, Versace.

The entertainment giant and the heritage fashion house are joining forces for event sponsorships and “cause-focused initiatives.” In a press release from the label, it outlined, “Central to both Versace and Roc Nation is human capital and a commitment to creative empowerment, celebrating individuality and fuelling positive change. Championing artists across music, entertainment, and broader cultural landscapes will be underscored through the partnership.” In an aim to support the next generation of talent, the partnership will include sponsoring scholarships from the Roc Nation School of Music, Sport and Entertainment at Long Island University — a program that is focused on entrepreneurship along with music and sports management.

The official deal kicks off during the 2024 Super Bowl. This will not be the first time that Roc Nation has collaborated with the NFL. They have previously done so by assisting the social initiatives and the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2019. This is also not the first time JAY-Z has worked with a fashion brand. Just recently, he collaborated on his on Moncler drop. Both Donatella Versace and JAY-Z have had a long-standing relationship that dates back to the days of her 2008 runway shows. In the past, both the duo have worn Versace pieces from red carpets to music videos.

It remains to be seen what activations this partnership will bring.
