Sunspel has tapped British designer Nigel Cabourn for an exclusive capsule collection. While Sunspel is known for its timeless design and fabric innovation, Cabourn is hailed as a cult designer who’s never been affected by trends and fads throughout his career that spanned over five decades. For this collaboration, the two united over their shared British heritage, combining Sunspel’s fabrics with Cabourn’s iconic design language.

Arriving in evergreen colorways spanning white, navy, orange, gray and army green, the lineup comprises timeless silhouettes in the form of T-shirts, light jackets, sweatpants, sweatshirts, boxer shorts, beanies and footwear. The piece encapsulates Cabourn’s vintage British Army and Navy aesthetic inspirations, while also exuding athleisure cues that appeal to the modern clientele.

Highlighted pieces include the Mesh Henley and Mesh Vest, which were inspired by 1940s material from Sunspel’s archives. The material has been reworked in Supima cotton, while its design draws references to Swedish military undergarments.

The collaboration also features a new selection of sneakers in three military-inspired colorways, entirely made in England by Goral. Drawing influences from the standard RAF issue trainer from the ’80s, the shoe comes in a Stead suede build, combined with cotton Ventile ripstop and soles from Vibram.

Priced from $95 – $815 USD, the Sunspel x Nigel Cabourn collection is available to shop via the brand’s official website and stores.
