Franck Muller has revealed a duo of limited edition Vanguard watches, honoring AC/DC’s 50th anniversary.
Limited to 50 examples each, both timepieces are presented in the emblematic Vanguard silhouette, featuring a case diameter of 43mm. One version arrives in a polished stainless steel build, while the other variant boasts a blackened titanium look with a hand-brushed finish.
Red Arabic numerals arrive in Franck Muller’s signature style alongside a circular 6 o’clock date window. The center of the dial emulates the look of of guitar soundhole, adorned with six lines that are reminiscent of guitar strings, complete with an AC/DC logo. This vinyl-like design on the inner dial also draws references to the High Voltage cover, the band’s debut album from 1975.
Inside, the watches are powered by the MVT FM 2536 SCDT automatic caliber, geared with 42 hours of power reserve as well as 30 meters of water resistance. Packaged in a limited-edition case much like a concert flight case, the watches are paired with black leather straps with red top-stitching and a deployment clasp sporting an embossed AC/DC lightning bolt logo.
