Los Angeles Lakers guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope robbed at gunpoint in his driveway for $150,000 in jewelry

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and his friends were robbed outside of his home earlier this month, according to police sources.

KCP and his friends were robbed at about 4 A.M., on June 17, when three gunmen forced the group to hand over their possessions. The 28-year-old and his friends were reportedly talking in his driveway before the robbery took place.

The three thieves reportedly took an iPhone, Rolex, and additional jewelry and other items. In total, the three unidentified suspects took $150,000 worth of items. KCP and his friends were not injured during the robbery.

After last year’s championship season, the Lakers gave KCP a three-year contract extension worth $39 million. The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating last week’s robbery.
